Reishi mushroom

Description

The mushroom has a cap-like shape, the cap is flat, 10-25 cm in diameter. It is shaped like an egg or kidney. The mushroom covering film has a smooth-wavy texture, shiny, covered with concentric pink rings of various shades (the color varies from pinkish to dark brown, sometimes black. It has a spongy structure on the surface, and the flesh is dense and woody brown.

Origin

It grows everywhere and was first discovered in East Asia (China and Korea).

Chemical composition

Reishi mushroom contains carbohydrates, amino acids, peptides, proteins, triterpenes, including steroids, lipids, alkaloids, glycosides, volatile essential oils, vitamins, trace elements (magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, calcium, zinc, potassium, sodium, iron, copper, sulfur, germanium). Significant active substances in the mushroom are polysaccharides and terpenes.

Methods of application

Reishi mushroom should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach with plenty of water.

Ganoderma is used in the form of infusions, tinctures, or teas.

Water infusion is prepared in a thermos, dry and pre-crushed mushroom (50 gr.) is filled with 1.5 liters of water ( 45-50 degrees), preserved for a day periodically shaking.Use 2 tablespoons of the infusion (without filtering), with 100 ml. water three times a day for 30 minutes before meals.

Tincture is prepared from 500 ml. vodka and 50 grams of mushroom, infused for 2-3 weeks in a dark warm place.
