Perennial herbaceous plant. The leaves are vaginal, the lower and middle ones are two-lobed, the upper ones are three-lobed, with large egg-shaped pointed Pilate leaves. The flowers are small, white, collected in multi-ray complex umbels. Height 60 – 100 cm.

Habitat. It grows in shrubs and forests, especially in oak forests, in clearings, in gardens.

The plant improves the activity of the stomach and intestines, has anti-scurvy, diuretic, softening, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and wound healing effects. Herbal infusion is taken inside for various joint injuries, especially gout, rheumatism, and is also used for gastrointestinal diseases (with symptoms of diarrhea and constipation), kidney and bladder diseases. Young leaves are used for the treatment and prevention of scurvy and are eaten in soups. Crushed fresh leaves are applied to sore places for gout, rheumatism and various inflammatory processes.
1. The 3 teaspoons of Ashweed herb infuse for 2 hours in 2 cups of boiled water, strain. Take 1/2 cup 4 times a day before meals.
2. Fresh crushed leaves is used as analgesic poultice in gout and rheumatism.
